NEW JERSEY AWARDS TAX BREAKS TO BRONX SAUSAGE MAKER
BY DANIEL BEEKMAN (NYDN)
The Garden State is hoping to take a bite out of the Bronx, with the New Jersey Economic Development Authority taking steps to lure a New York sausage maker —and 60 jobs—across the Hudson River.
The authority’s board voted last week to approve $173,000 in tax breaks for Cibao Meat Products based on the Bronx company’s proposal to build a new factory in Paterson, N.J.
